About Staubig

We got Staubig aka-Kitty when she was 6 weeks old and have enjoyed her warmth and companionship for several years. She is going on 11 years old and is very active and friendly. However, after a divorce and kids left for college (getting her was their master plan) I am now having difficulty taking care of her due to extensive business travel, plus I am actually allergic to cats, but with her it isnt too bad:) She is always looking for attention and loves her head scratchies while I am on the couch watching tv. She is typically inquisitive and playful at the drop of a hat or by flinging a piece of string anywhere nearby. I wish whoever takes her shows her same love and attention I have given her and appreciates her. BTW - her name, Staubig is German for Dusty. My son took German as his language in school and when we brought her home she immediately found a couple dust bunnies in the laundry room that ended up on her whiskers...hence Staubig/Dusty is her real name
