About Kiki

Seeking a devoted companion? Meet Kiki, a gorgeous 7-year-old Chow Chow in Northlake, IL, with a heart as big as her fluffy coat. She has a fun, sassy streak but is the ultimate companion, happiest on daily walks or relaxing with her person. While she takes time to warm up, she becomes incredibly loyal and affectionate. Kiki is looking for a specific, calm, and quiet household without the high energy of small children, ideally with an owner who understands the Chow personality. Regarding other pets, Kiki would do best as an only pet but has successfully lived with cats and can live with calm, non-dominant male dogs after a proper introduction. Kiki is in excellent health, well-trained, and up-to-date on all vet care (records provided); she also takes Prozac to manage anxiety with new people. There is no rehoming fee. If it's not a good fit for any reason, Kiki must be returned directly to her current owners to ensure she never ends up in a shelter. If possible her family would love to stay connected through the occasional picture or being able to follow her adventures on social media to ensure she is thriving.
