A Prayer for Charles - Please Don't Let Him Get on That Transport This post is going out with a prayer - that one special angel sees this and steps forward to save Charles before it's too late. The rescue is closing, and Charles is scheduled to be sent on transport to Texas, where countless dogs are being euthanized every day simply because there are too many and not enough homes. We're desperate to stop that from happening. Charles deserves better - he deserves love, safety, and a chance to live. Meet Charles - The Goofy Sweetheart! Charles is a 1-year-old bundle of joy who has been waiting almost a year for his forever home. He's silly, loyal, full of life, and loves both people and other dogs. Once you meet him, his happy energy and big heart will absolutely melt you. Recently, Charles got a well-deserved day out - and he was a complete dream. He met everyone with a wagging tail and gentle manners, played beautifully with dogs big and small, and walked calmly off-leash, staying close by with perfect recall. Outside the shelter, he truly shines. You can see the light come back into his eyes - like he finally remembers what it feels like to be loved. Charles has waited long enough.
