Come this Saturday, sweet Ziva will be placed on transport back to Texas, where so many innocent dogs never make it out alive. We're desperate to find her a foster or adopter before then - to give her the safety and love she's been searching for. Meet Ziva - a gentle soul who just wants to be loved. Ziva is a 5.5-year-old hound mix with the softest heart. She's already known deep heartbreak - abandoned by the person she trusted most, and left trying to understand why. Since then, she's been scared and confused, but underneath that fear is the sweetest girl, waiting for someone to show her that love still exists. At the rescue, Ziva has slowly begun to open up. When she realizes she's safe, her tail starts to wag, and her eyes fill with quiet hope. You can feel how much she wants to trust again. But with the rescue closing, time is running out.
