Happy was born blind but he can tell if it's day or night, he's hearing impaired and will bark at things like train sounds and squirrels chittering. He can hear but not as well as a normal dog can. He's a gentle giant with humans, but is dominant and scared around other dogs and will be aggressive. He needs to be the ONLY dog in the home. Due to his size I'd say no to a home that has children under 12. He could accidentally hurt them in excitement due to size. He loves to be outside in a fenced in yard or small fenced acreage. Summer heat or winter snow he just wants to sun bathe, bury himself in the snow, and do zoomies. When he's inside he loves to cuddle and rest his head on your lap or feet if he's not chewing on a favorite Rope toy or heavy duty chew stick. He's very fond of frozen fruit for snacks as well as chicken feet and sweet potatoes. I've tried everything I can afford to get him more Comfortable around other dogs, but I think he's just mainly afraid since he can't see. He's my baby boy but it's better for Him and my other dog to find him a loving home where he can have an even better life. I've had him since he was 8 weeks and I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for in his best interest. Aside from being blind he is healthy. No worms, parasites, etc. He does need vaccines and preventative meds. Thank you for reading, have a great day.
