Oliver is an 8 and 1/2-year-old indoor pig. We have owned him since he was 8 weeks old. Unfortunately due to life events which include a divorce and myself going from being a stay-at-home mom to working full-time And not having the funds or the time to give Oliver that he deserves. He has always been an indoor pig, he stays in our dining room in a very large pen when we are not home. He has always been content staying in there up until recently due to the change. He has many comforters he sleeps under in his pen that he also loves to root around in. He is potty trained and goes outside which has also become an issue lately due to he has to go up and down stairs and he is having difficulty. He likes to go outside. When the weather is ideal he will eat grass and likes to lay in the sunshine but prefers to be indoors. During the winter time he loves to lay in front of the fireplace and loves tissue paper and wrapping paper. He will bring it inside of his pen and rude around in it. We have three dogs that he does not get along with. He has never been around any other animals so I am not sure how he would react. He grew up with three younger kids in the house that he never really had a problem with. He tends to be on the territorial side and doesn't like a lot of commotion and visitors coming into the house, which I know is common for a lot of pigs. He is known to get into some mischief if left unattended. He knows how to open cabinets lol. He is fed many pig food two times a day and will randomly have some people's scraps as well. It is making me heartbroken that I need to make this decision, but I know it is in the best interest of him at this time. Please reach out with any questions. I know he would be a great companion with somebody who is just willing to give him time and love.
