About Banshee

Banshee earned her nickname by being the loudest kitten born in our bathroom after her stray mother, Revenant, was rescued. She's still very opinionated, but she doesn't actually shriek constantly like her name implies, I promise. Despite how adorable her cute little paws, tiny body, round face and big round eyes make her look, she is often fueled by chaos and mayhem. Since she was born here, she's been socialized from the start, so should settle in quickly to new environments, even busy ones. She also has a super sweet cuddly side and would like to curl up in your lap when you get home from work. She doesn't see many boundaries with people (which she loves), so she may also try to burrow under you, into your lap, or wedge herself behind you on the couch. She LOVES toys, and has even fetched some back to be thrown again on her own. DOWNSIDE? occasional C H A O S. If you want a calm quiet house, with an uncomplicated easy going sleepy kitty, she's too much chaos for you. If your life is chaos and just needs purrs and cuddles, she'll fit right in. She will also get under your sheets and burrow around like a worm from Dune, but once you're in bed she wants to sleep with you. Adoption Fee is an optional donation. We help cats out of our own home, but due to health problems, need to take a break from rescuing and reduce the workload at home for a while.
