Paloma is a small, round faced, and relatively shy kitty. It will take a little longer for her to settle in comfortably with new people, but she's affectionate once she trusts you. She also enjoys toys. DOWNSIDE? She has a permanent head tilt. When her litter was young, they came to us with mycoplasma, an aggressive bacterial upper respiratory infection. She was the hardest one hit by it, and it has left permanent damage to her inner ear, causing a shift in her equilibrium. To her, it feels like the world is sideways. This does not prevent her from normal cat behaviors; she still plays, uses the litterbox, climbs the cat tree, etc... When you pick her up or put her down, she prefers being hugged close and feeling supported, so she can relax and not worry about falling. Some think the head tilt gives her a curious charm; do you? Adoption Fee is an optional donation. We help cats out of our own home, but due to health problems, need to take a break from rescuing and reduce the workload at home for a while.
