About Niko - Courtesy Post

Niko is a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd with a huge heart and endless energy. Found in poor condition, he's made an amazing recovery and is now a happy, playful boy who loves everyone he meets. He's friendly with other dogs, though his playful jumping can be too much for some. Niko walks fairly well on leash, doesn't react to other dogs, and did great on a beach walk. He's curious about cats but doesn't chase them and is sweet with kids (just a bit jumpy when excited). Niko is working on being housebroken yet but uses a designated potty area and is learning quickly. He'll thrive in an active home that can give him the exercise, structure, and love he deserves. After a rough start, he's ready for his forever family.
