About Aries

Aries is a sleek, jet-black stunner with the graceful frame and goofy heart of a classic Great Dane. Tall, athletic, and full of presence, he's the kind of dog who turns heads on a walk-and then immediately makes you laugh with his antics. He's great with other dogs, cat-neutral, and adores people. That said, Aries is still very much a giant puppy with linebacker energy-so any kids in his future home should be sturdy and dog-savvy. He hasn't quite grasped the concept of personal space, and when excited, he's been known to leap like he's chasing a touchdown. Aries is kennel & crate trained (he fits a 54' crate) and knows a few basics, but he'll need continued work on polite greetings and general manners. Like many Danes, he thrives with consistency, structure, and people who understand that 'giant breed puppy' is both a lifestyle and a mindset. He came into rescue in April and has blossomed into a confident, loving, and hilarious companion. His Dane traits shine through in the best ways-loyal, sensitive, a little clumsy, and constantly tuned in to his people. Aries is ready for a home that will guide him through the rest of his growing up with patience, playtime, and lots of love. He may be big, but his heart is even bigger.
