About Poppy

Poppy is a 13 year old sweetheart who still has plenty of love (and life!) to share. She's the perfect lap dog and loyal companion, happiest when she's by your side. This gentle girl gets along beautifully with other dogs (big and small) as well as cats. She's also great with children and enjoys all the attention from visitors. Poppy is house trained, leash trained, and has never had an accident in her foster home. With access to the yard, she takes herself out as needed and loves to relax nearby once she's back inside. Car rides are one of her favorite things, and she can hop right into the car or truck on her own. She is deaf, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. It just means she'll thrive with a family willing to communicate with her in other ways. Poppy is looking for a calm, loving home where she can spend her golden years being cherished.
