About Dozer

Dozer, a.k.a. DohDoh (yes I think of the Homer Simpson version of Doh!) is just a big block head, caramel colored chonk. This two-ish year-old neutered guy is the absolute sweetest mixed with a splash of mischievous. He has the softest fur and thanks to his bloodhound lineage a lot of squishy skin so you can make him a Sharpei for fun. He also thinks this is a good time too bc of how much I laugh. He is kennel trained, house trained, and his bloodhound skills are strong when it comes to figuring out where I have hidden the treats. He is always ready to play and will make a great companion to a laid-back pup who won't get angry at some of his antics. While I have a very laid-back pack, I could see where a very dominant dog and he would not get along. He doesn't mind that he's not the boss, but he can be a bratty little brother. If there is a tussle, it is short-lived and no one gets hurt. He's more interested in just wanting to play. He's very smart and learned the rules of the house quickly. He is quite the gentleman offering a foot and personal space, he doesn't know her. In his mind he's a lap dog and just a baby. I definitely can see him with kids bc he's always ready for fun and will flip over for belly rubs!!!
