Meet Apolo Creed, born on July 19, 2020. I picked him when he was just a day old and brought him home at 7 weeks. Over the past five years, they have shared many experiences together, including some challenging times. I recently left an abusive relationship in May, where she and all three of her dogs, including Apolo, were subjected to abuse. Unfortunately, Apolo bore the brunt of it and has become quite overprotective and territorial. I am is currently 26 weeks pregnant, and Apolo's reactivity towards her, strangers, noises, and the two other dogs in the home, especially during feeding time, has made it difficult to manage. With her work schedule, living alone, and being pregnant, finding a trainer has been challenging. If I had more money I would try to pay for training I would but im currently living paycheck to paycheck while saving to move and for maternity leave. If I was not pregnant, I would not consider rehoming him, but due to his unpredictable behavior, it has become necessary . He tends to do better with women than men and has not been around children. He was exposed to cats as a puppy but not in recent years. Ideally, Apolo would thrive in a home with one other dog (preferably a female, separated for mealtimes) and no children. A fenced-in yard is essential, along with someone patient who understands the needs of an abused animal. Apolo loves car rides, cuddles, and treats! Apolo is not crate trained, but he is neutered and up-to-date on necessary vaccinations. Please share. Do not comment hate or be rude this is already hard enough We're located in Canaan NH
