About Buttercup

Buttercup is a beautiful four-year-old sweetheart with a BIG personality and an even bigger capacity for love. This precious girl is an absolute lover baby and a total purr machine once she feels comfortable with you. One of Buttercup's favorite things is having her chin rubbed. Give her a good chin scratch and she'll lean right into your hand to let you know you've found her happy spot! She also loves interactive play and will happily entertain herself with string toys, lasers, tunnels, scratchers, and cozy little houses. Cat trees are especially exciting to her because she loves climbing up high and surveying her kingdom from above. When playtime is over, Buttercup is all about comfort. She adores soft blankets and loves curling up on your chest, snuggling beside you, or even claiming the pillow above your head as her personal sleeping spot. In her foster home, her favorite place to nap is tucked away in the back of the closet on a soft, cozy blanket. Buttercup has plenty of adorable quirks, too. Call her name and she may dramatically flip over onto her belly for you. She also loves keeping you company during your morning bathroom routine - because apparently, no one should start their day without Buttercup supervision! Buttercup has made it clear that she would prefer to be the only feline queen in her castle. She doesn't seem to enjoy living with other cats and would be happiest in a home where she doesn't have to share her humans, her space, or her royal status with another kitty. Interestingly, Buttercup really enjoys dogs! She loves rubbing on them and even gives them sweet little kisses by licking their heads.
