I cannot stress that enough. I need more than 'I want a dog, live in a house, and will love her'. Angelina Angelo- Aka Angel is a 3-year-old elegant Dane in search of a new kingdom. She has been a comfort companion to an older man whose health is declining, and he does not have the strength in mind or body to care for her. She was well-loved. She had a gastropexy as a preventive measure some time ago to reduce the complications of bloat, which is always a concern for barrel-chested dogs. Weighing in at 150 pounds, Angel is spayed, vaccinated, has good potty manners, gets on well with most dogs, and does well with cats- with gentle introduction. She loves to go on car rides, enjoys her toys, and cuddles. She is looking forward to new adventures with a fenced yard, a family familiar with the breed and ready to make new memories for this robust girl. She is a strong, bodacious lady who is eager to please and be part of your attentive family. She does need a leader who lets her know who the boss is! She has a stubborn streak because she doesn't know her place. Will you be her leader? Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care.
