About Canelo

Canelo is active, energetic, and incredibly smart. He's the kind of dog who would excel in an active home that loves training, playing, and keeping his brilliant mind busy. He has amazing jumping skills and could play fetch for hours if you let him! He's 2 years old (est DOB 4/10/23) and ready to bring a lifetime of love into your life. He's tipping the scale at a whopping 10 lbs! Because he can be dominant with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the love and leadership. He's shy with new people at first since he hasn't had much outside exposure, but once he trusts you, he is affectionate, loving, and devoted. Canelo isn't used to being crated, rather he's always lived in a secure indoor area with his bed, toys, food, and water. Car rides make him a little uneasy at first too, but he adjusts well. This boy has so much love to give and will absolutely flourish with a family who appreciates his energy, intelligence, and huge heart.
