About Lara

Meet Lara! This 6-month-old, 45-pound sweetheart is an adorable mystery mix, we think she is part malinois/german shepherd, though your guess is as good as ours. She loves humans and other dogs. She's a dog with a drive, and active engagement is how she'll thrive, not outsourced puzzles or games. Lara is all about play. She has puppy energy and thinks everything is a toy including zooming kids. She will need guidance on gentle interactions; an owner who will commit to training as she still a very much a nippy/bitey puppy. Lara is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She loves training sessions, picks up new cues quickly, and has mastered polite leash walking. She rides beautifully in the car and sleeps quietly in her crate at night.
