About Calista

This petite princess is Calista who appears to be a Maine Coon/Domestic Mix. Found by the base of a tree at the James River in Richmond Calista's finder requested assistance on a Facebook Cat page and I answered her plea. On Monday, October 13, 2025, little Calista became my newest rescue. Still sporting partially blue eyes as seen in her photo, Calista is a youngster age estimated to be approximately eight weeks old. Since arriving she has begun to bulk up, an avid eater at feeding time enjoying her Fancy Feast and Royal Canin Mother and Baby Car dry food Calista now weighs in at 2.35 pounds. She has become best buddies with rescue kitten man Zane and enjoys romping and stomping with him in typical kitten fashion. A fast paced game of chase with the chasee becoming the chaser. Calista is smitten with the PawsPik 4 in 1 laser that she is pictured with and has mastered pummeling the red dot that is part parcel of the rotating arm. Once worn out from her raucous play, Calista is a snuggle up a puss, cuddling with buddies Zane and Windermere. She is a big fan of boxes of any size. Scheduled to be spayed on November 11, 2025, if she has busted the three ound mark, Calista will be rabies and distemper vaccinated, combo tested and microchipped on that same date. She has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Her ear tuffs and whiskers stretch for miles and the dot on her right nostril adds to her personality. Her coat is super soft and silky. Between her white mitts and boots combined with her tabby stripping Calista is perfection/purrfection.
