About Fabio the Ladies Man

Hi friends, I'm FABIO 44lbs and handsomeness! I'm a shy Cattle Dog / Kelpie mix rescued from a high-kill shelter in California. I'm a loyal boy who bonds deeply, especially with gentle, kind women. I'm still learning that not all men are scary, so I'd feel safest in a female-only home with no small kids. I'm housetrained, good with most dogs, and was a total gentleman at the vet. I'm not overly affectionate just yet, I'm still a bit insecure and fearful. But with patience, I'll learn that love is safe. I take treats gently, enjoy a good bone, and sometimes walk off with my food bowl after dinner (a guy's gotta make an exit in style!). I may start out shy, but once I trust you, I'll be your loyal little shadow. Could you be the one to help me feel safe and loved?'
