Poor Bean falls into that category - but we're determined to change his story. Black dogs rock, and Bean deserves the best home imaginable. That's how long Bean has been stuck in a kennel - day after day, night after night - waiting for someone to choose him, hoping someone will come. He doesn't understand why he keeps getting let down. He's gentle, loving, loyal - a dog who gives everything he has and asks for nothing in return. When rescue came to pick him up from his last home, Bean's joy was undeniable - tail wagging, happy eyes, soaking up every ounce of love. But when the car pulled up to the boarding facility, his smile faded. He cried softly, as if he already knew where he was going. Now, day after day, he waits - heart heavy, spirit fading. Boarding is breaking him. You can see it in his eyes.
