About Pooka

Hi there FCCR friends, I'm Pooka! I'm a beautiful 10-year-old buff cocker spaniel girl weighing in at a perfect 19 pounds of pure sweetness. My previous family loved me so much, but when they couldn't afford my medical care anymore, they made the brave decision to find me the perfect new home where I could get everything I needed. I came to FCCR with a few ouches - a cherry eye, a mammary tumor, and some not-so-great teeth - but guess what? Everything has been fixed up and I'm fully on the mend and feeling fabulous! Now let me tell you what makes me special. I'm a cocker spaniel through and through, which means I've got that trademark sweet, gentle personality with just the right amount of playful spirit! I absolutely LOVE playing with other dogs and I'm wonderful with kids too. I've got great house manners (because I'm a lady, of course), and I'm super friendly and easy going with everyone I meet. One of my favorite things in the whole world? Toys! I love playing with them and will happily chase after anything you toss - the game is always more fun when you're involved!
