About Spencer

Spencer would be a great farm / country dog. He is 60 pounds. We adopted Spencer from Lucky13 Rescue in Kansas City, but he is not thriving in a suburban area. He is 3.5 years old. He is okay with other dogs, but preferably no alpha dogs. Before we adopted him, Spencer had a cyst on his leg removed. He also had a bit of dermatitis on his back leg. All vet records will be provided. After adopting him, Spencer experienced an unknown illness for which he had to be hospitalized. He recovered with antibiotics and steroids. The animal hospital was unable to come up with a diagnosis at the time. He is not thriving in our household with another dog, and two cats in a tight-knit neighborhood in Kansas City. We would love to see him thrive in a new home that fits his needs, and are willing to travel to get him the right fit.
