(DOB 03/26/2025) Kimber - The Sweetest Little Farm Girl! Kimber is a young, gentle soul who's perfectly at home with country living. Farm life? No problem! She loves tagging along to the barn with her foster mom and greeting all her animal friends. Horses, donkeys, goats, guinea pigs, turkeys, and even cats - Kimber gets along beautifully with them all! She's a true animal lover and the kind of pup who brings calm, happy energy wherever she goes. Kimber's personality is a wonderful blend of sweetness and curiosity. She's smart, playful, and loves exploring her surroundings whether she's sniffing around the pasture or relaxing by your side after a day of fun. Kimber has already found a love for water too both at the lake and river. She puts her toes right on in! Her loyalty and friendliness make her an incredible companion who will fill your days with laughter, love, and quiet joy. This lovely lady can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a gentle voice, a few soft pets, and a sprinkle of patience, she warms right up. Once she feels safe, Kimber's cuddly and affectionate side shines bright. She adores being near her humans and has a heart full of love to give. Because she's a bit on the sensitive side, an easygoing home, perhaps without very young or rambunctious kiddos, would be her ideal match. Kimber could also live out her days in an apartment, condo, or townhome if 'farming ain't your thing' as long as you took her for several nice walks each day. She is good on a leash and would enjoy meeting new doggie friends while she is out and about. She doesn't require another a dog in the home; however, she is equally happy with them. Kimber is just a role with it kind of a gal. She loves being with her people and doesn't require a fenced in yard; she'd rather be inside lying next to you on the sofa! She's also good with cats. With her young age, she is still mastering potty training so make sure you have a schedule where you are home majority of the time so she can stay on a consistent schedule. She is also doing well on her crate training, too. Oh, one little thing...she is not a fan of the car, and it makes her car sick. Hopefully, in time that will settle in for her. Kimber is ready to find her fur-ever family, so let's not make her wait too long!! Wags and wiggles await you! As part of Kimber's $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, if you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email [email protected]. If you wish to adopt Kimber, you can fill out an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
