Tofu A743256 4 Year Old Neutered Male German Shepherd Needs Rescue By 11/05/2025 Tofu arrived to the shelter as a stray brought in by a member of the public on 06/22/2025 with intake notes describing Tofu as 'friendly & handleable but nervous'. Tofu was made available for adoption on 06/30/2025 following end of his stray hold retention and passing human and canine evaluation testing. Tofu has presented himself as gentle and affectionate with submissive/conflict avoidant demeanor, with no negative behavior reported aside from being reluctant to return to his kennel during his initial stray hold period. Unfortunately, on 10/17/2025 tofu was involved in a bite to a volunteer inflicting several tooth scrapes and punctures. Per incident report, A743256 Tofu was exited from his kennel and jumped up on volunteer shortly after exit. Due to bite incident on property causing multiple punctures A743256 Tofu needs placement by end of day Wednesday November 5th 2025.
