This beautiful boy needs a loving home. My 86-year old husband adopted this beautiful, friendly, neutered male Mastiff from our local shelter last week. We were told he was approximately 5 years old. Turns out he's 16 months old and our vet says this big boy still has some growing to do, which is a challenge for my elderly husband. While my husband isn't frail, he can't afford to fall and break anything when encountering the typical youthful enthusiasm of a younger dog (that's why we were looking for an older/senior dog when we found this handsome boy). So we are faced with rehoming this beautiful boy. We don't want to return him to shelter because owner-surrendered and returned dogs are given a very short time before tagged for euthanasia. If you can provide a loving home for this adorable giant, please message me. UPDATE: We just had a meet & greet with a GSD and Terrier and Darian was dominant with both -- but it felt more like securing a place in the pecking order rather than going for blood. He was fine with cats, but they were keeping their distance. And he can jump a 4' fence, so an adopter definitely must have a 6' fence or electric fence.
