About Zumi

Zumi is a sweet, affectionate pup who bonds deeply with people and would do best in an adult only home. She thrives on human connection and is happiest when she's right by your side, whether that's cuddling on the couch or joining you for a walk around the neighborhood. She's smart and incredibly food-motivated, making her very trainable for anyone willing to work with her. When she's not showing off her tricks, she's perfectly content to settle in for a good nap. Zumi is fully crate trained, is good on a leash, and does well with a simple routine of a couple walks per day to meet her exercise needs. While she gets along great with calmer, older dogs, she can get overly excited around new dogs and needs an experienced owner who can help manage her enthusiasm through training and medication. Her ideal home would be with dog-savvy adopters who can provide guidance and consistent boundaries.
