Meet MONROE Your future adventure buddy! This 3-year-old, 52 lbs. Dutch-Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix is full of energy, personality, and love! Monroe is always ready for a run, hike, or backyard play session-making him the perfect companion for an active adopter looking for a four-legged sidekick to keep up with their pace. Unfortunately, Monroe was adopted last year, and due to an unfortunate situation at the adopters' home, he was returned 2 months later. No fault of Monroe. Monroe is active, smart, and a little bit stubborn. He loves attention and thrives on companionship, whether it's with humans or other dogs. Monroe does get anxiety with unfamiliar noises, new dogs, and strangers outside his home. With some reassurance and time, he warms up and lets his playful personality shine! We would advise that his new owner continue professional training. He is a quick learner and already knows his basic commands (sit, paw, down, roll over). With his energy and smarts, he'd be a star in agility class!
