This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. I recently rescued a 2-year-old female Cane Corso named Anya. She came from a difficult situation and is still very skittish, but she warms up quickly to women loves kids and is extremely fearful of men. Despite her rough past, Anya is incredibly sweet and gentle once she feels safe. She does have some food aggression and will need patience and structure to continue working through that. Anya loves to play with dogs of all sizes and gets along great with cats. She is not spayed and is still working on house training-she's made progress but does have occasional accidents. She's also not crate trained yet; I use a crate when I leave, but she's still adjusting to it. Before I took her in three months ago, she had lived outdoors in a kennel her whole life. She really needs a rescue or experienced foster who can provide the stability, training, and care she deserves. Unfortunately, I'm unable to give her the help she needs long-term. I'm located in Raleigh, NC.
