About Maddie Grace

Hi, I'm Maddie! I'm 2.5 years old, born on April 15th, 2023. I'm one of 3 surviving puppies that my mom had. My mom's name is Maggie, she wasn't supposed to have us, she was too young at the time. My farm family thinks there is a possibility that my dad was a German Shepherd, but isn't for sure. The farm had chicken, cats, dogs, goats, pigs, and cows and I did just fine, but that was years old. I was picked up by my current family after Memorial Day weekend. Before moving I had rough hospital stay, I couldn't move! But after a few nights I have been fine since. I've done really well at the vet and even enjoy being brushed out and my nails trimmed so much that I take a nap! I've been around tiny and big dogs. I've been on car rides and have done just fine, I prefer to have a bench seat then having just a seat. During our walks, I love for strangers (of all sizes and races) to come pet on me! I love snacks! Those glazed vanilla donut treats that Milkbone puts out are my favorite! I like all types of toys, especially if there are snacks hidden inside them! I've been caught digging holes in the walk way, and playing in the compost. I barely bark. I get timid with new people and things at first but then it's fine. I've slept through fireworks and storms. I know it hurts my parents to have to make this decision as it's the best thing for me as they have a small yard and we don't have time together.
