About Scarlett Jo

This young lady is fully vetted, house and leased trained. She loves to play ball and stick close to her person. She is not found of small children as the home that she came from allowed the toddler to be aggressive to her and throw things at her. She is also not very fond of men, I'm not sure where that came from. However, once she gets to know the male, she is fine. She prefers to be the only dog, but has been very good with my dog. The only time that she gets a little snarly is when he gets close to her while eating. Otherwise she and he have gotten along very well together. Sharing toys with each other has not been a problem. She does well in a kennel, but prefers the couch and her blanket. At night she likes to sleep right next to me. I do allow her to be out while I am at work. She has not had an accident in the house since she was turned over to me in May. The home that she was to go to did not work as the lady fell and broke several bones and is now not capable of caring for her. I did take her back as her family did not want her either. My goal is to find a home that this gal will thrive in. She truly deserves it. I have known her since she was a pup. She has always been a little skiddish. I think that came from how much the kids were moving from home to home. Scarlett has done really well with me. She does not like loud noises (thunder, fireworks, gun fire), she does bark at the knock of a door. Once she realizes it is ok, she will settle. She does listen to commands such as sit, go lay down, quiet and no. She has been eating Rachel Ray Nutrish and milk bones. Occasionally she will get a bully stick or yak bone. She is not allowed rawhide at all. She loves her balls and to play fetch. The squeakier the better. She is a typical cocker, I just keep an eye on her and the surroundings. Her vaccinations are up to date and also has the lymes vaccination, which she has been getting since she was a pup. I do have all of her records and then also the vet care that I did for her. She is not registered, if you did choose to have her registered, I do have the paper work for it. That paperwork has her bloodline on it as well, should you want to know any of that.
