Wonderful and stunning cat. She was abandoned for unknown reasons. She is remarkably friendly to everyone including children. I would keep her but for my age. She deserves to have a home with her own humans. She will be most happy as an indoor cat that is occasionally allowed out during the day. if you live in a semi-rural area she likes to go for walks just like a dog. Because her condition was unknown when I found her I took her to a vet for examination. It was determined that she had not been spayed. Her vaccine status was unknown. I had her vaccinated for rabies, distemper, feline aids and leukemia, dewormed, treated for fleas and chipped. These are all expenses that a responsible new owner would have had do immediately. I am a senior on a fixed income so this nearly $400 expense was a great burden. I would respectfully request that any interested adoptor reimburse me. I will provide receipts and all associated medical records. On a final note I have submitted DNA for testing as there is some debate whether she is an Ocicat or part Bengal. Both a Bengal and Ocicat breeder have been unequivocal in designating her as Bengal although not pure bred. The DNA test should clear that up.
