About Winnie

Winnie is a very sweet dog. She gets along with kids but it would be ideal to have kids over 5 years old who cannot be toppled by her because she does jump and herds. We are putting her up for adoption because we simply cannot meet her high energy needs (despite trying for the last year) and she becomes destructive if they are not met which is fair. We are very busy with work and a toddler. I would take her to work with me but she constantly wants go on walks which isn't possible with my demanding job. She gets along with our other dog very well but she needs to be the dominant one so if you have another very dominant dog it wouldn't work. She gets along well with cats but is at first weary. She is truly a lovely pup but she needs owners who (a) have experience with Corgis and (b) aren't constantly busy. Working normal 40 hour work weeks with working from home would be ideal for her. We don't think a home with a toddler is good because she gets very jealous of our toddler. She doesn't take it out on her but more on her stuff. We will be very picky about the home she goes to.
