This post is going out with a prayer. We have just one day to find a home with no other pets for this sweet, gentle girl -before it's too late. I'm posting this as a last attempt to save her life of a story I saw that broke my heart !! Below is her story , please dont allow it to end here after all she has been through to save her life already . Her name is Ginger. On 10/24/25, a kind Good Samaritan found her running along I-95 northbound, between Academy and Woodhaven. She was limping, scared, and clearly in pain. They gained her trust, picked her up, and took her straight to the emergency vet. She got her leg splinted, a rabies vaccine, and was tested for heartworm (negative ). The vet staff said she was one of the sweetest, most cooperative dogs they'd seen - she didn't even need sedation for her leg splint. Ginger was gentle, loving, and just wanted to be close. She cuddled, gave kisses, ate her meals, and took her meds like an angel. Sadly, when she got home, she became aggressive toward the resident dog and cat. It wasn't her fault - she's scared, healing, and just needs a calm home with no other animals. Her finder tried everything, but ultimately had to make the heartbreaking choice to surrender her to Women's Animal Center in Bensalem - hoping she'd get a chance at adoption. But today, they shared devastating news: they plan to euthanize her because she can't relax around other dogs at the shelter. She's never bitten a person. She just needs peace, love, and a quiet home to heal. Ginger is scheduled to be euthanized on 10/31. We are begging for a miracle - someone with a big heart and no other pets to give this sweet girl a second chance. Her finder has offered to cover all of her medical costs while she heals and will help with transport to and from vet appointments. Please - if you or anyone you know can foster or adopt Ginger, reach out immediately. Share this post far and wide. Every share can save a life. Let's not let this beautiful soul die without knowing what true safety and love feel like. We need a foster or adopter to save .
