One year-old Ellie scored a 3 out of 9 on her intake evaluation, which would have been worse had she not been given a 'fair' on her teeth. Otherwise, 'filthy, unsocialized, terrified, very underweight' were the terms used in the notes. But oh what a difference a few months can make!! Looking like a 90's supermodel, Ellie has gained 18 pounds and is looking like a new dog. At 45 pounds now, she's still got a few more to gain but she's headed in the right direction. She loves nothing more than playing with her five foster Doberman brothers and sisters in the yard! Ellie has found a love for food and treats, obviously two things she never saw much of prior to finding her patient foster family. Ellie is finally sleeping peacefully through the night, finally accepting the silence that scared her so much in the beginning. She's sure to make someone a great friend, walking buddy, and just a great addition to the family. Ellie is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and has been spayed. She's ready to go home with you like, yesterday; what are you waiting for?!
