About Tequila

Meet beautiful Tequila...she was rescued from a hoarding case and her and her sister (they are not bonded) were tied to a pole and left to starve to death. Tequila weighed only 35 pounds when we rescued her and now she is a healthy 75 pounds. They were turned out in all weather (cold and heat) and as a result both tested positive for heartworms. The rescue has started the initial testing and both are at the early stages of heartworm and plan to make a full recovery. We are looking for a foster to adopt home for this sweet affectionate beauty while the rescue gets her the heartworm treatment that she will need to live a long happy life. Tequila is very smart, loyal and affectionate. She knows some basic commands but will need an adopter to continue her training.
