This gorgeous German Shepherd/Collie mix is on the lookout for her forever family, and she's bringing all her best skills along! Maggie is a certified road-trip enthusiast and a total pro when it comes to house and crate manners. She's a clever cookie who knows 'sit' and 'lay down,' and she has her own polite way of asking to go outside; just look for her waiting patiently at the door! Fetch fans, get ready: Maggie loves chasing after balls! Bath time? Brushing? Leash walks? She aces them all like the very good girl she is. And when it's time for a vet visit, Maggie is the definition of a model patient. She's fantastic with kids of every age and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Maggie is loyal, lovable, and ready to fill a home with joy. Is she chasing her way into your heart? Maggie sure hopes so! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are not put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
