About Maggie

Female, pit/mix Ms. Maggie was being used by her previous owners for breeding, and we're not good to her. She lived in poor conditions, out doors, in cold weather, on a relatively short chain. My mother adopted her to get her out of the squalor she was living in, but now due to her declining health she's not able to care for Maggie properly. She is a sweet and still fairly young dog at 4 years old. She has a strong small prey drive and doesn't do well with cats or other dogs, but has a bubbly and energetic personality with people. Great with adults and probably teens as well, but I couldn't say for sure with small children. She is VERY strong and weighs around 70lbs. I'm sure she'd make a great dog for an active person, couple, or family.
