MEATBALL IS LOSING HIS HOME AGAIN Apx 6-7 years old , 60 lbs Neutered Dog friendly , Kid friendly , Cats unknown Sweet Meatball hasn't had an easy life. He was first adopted from an overcrowded North Carolina shelter, only to be seized years later in a cruelty case - starved, living outdoors, and suffering with a painful tumor no one cared to treat. Despite it all, Meatball's spirit never broke. The shelter helped him gain weight and connected him with rescue support so his rectal tumor could be removed. That's when a kind woman saw his desperate plea and opened her heart and home to him. For the first time in his life, Meatball got to sleep inside, feel loved, and know what safety means. But heartbreak has struck again. His foster mom - who hoped to adopt him - has suddenly fallen gravely ill and will soon be hospitalized long-term. She can no longer care for Meatball or her own dog, whom Meatball adores. Now, this gentle boy finds himself on the edge of losing everything once more. Meatball is a kind, loyal, goofy soul who asks for so little - just a soft bed, kind words, and someone to finally keep him safe forever. After everything he's endured, he deserves a happy ending.
