About Duke

Introducing Duke, born in August of 2023. He is a robust mix of German Shepherd and Beauceron, tipping the scales at about 50 pounds. Duke gets along well with other dogs in his foster home. He enjoys playing tug-o-war, chase and taking dips in the kiddie pool. Duke is a warm-hearted canine who aims to please. His leash training is advancing nicely, his health is excellent, and he has adapted quickly to crate training. Duke was an inside dog at one point but has been outside for the last 6 months because of a foster change. At that point he was housebroke. Duke is ready to settle into his forever home. Are you the companion he's been waiting for? Beaucerons are highly intelligent and eager to please, making them relatively easy to train. They excel in obedience and various dog sports, including agility and herding. Duke is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated and micro-chipped. $25 rescue adoption fee applies.
