Kiwi and Chester are one-month-old baby guinea pig brothers looking for a loving guardian together. These boys came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when a family had an unexpected litter. They get along beautifully with one another and need daily handling and a lot of love to keep them well-socialized and fun to live with. They eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share fresh salad and pellets each day. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, or some of their dark leafy greens. These adorable tiny fellows would love a home with people who will lavish love on them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting Kiwi and Chester, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting [email protected] Their adoption fee of $75 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, you can purchase their Midwest guinea pig cage (two-foot by four-foot), and all the supplies you'll need to get you started. They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
