About Heidi

This dog is being fostered in the Pittsburgh, PA area.(Allegheny County) Please consider Heidi! Heidi is a 1 year old Boxer/Dogue de Bordeau mix who has been raised with other dogs, cats, and children. She is a bit shorter than a standard Boxer, and is approximately 40 LBS, but underweight right now. Heidi knows her basic commands and is making great progress on leash training. She is house trained, but has not been crated. Heidi is spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots and worming. She is exceptionally loving and affectionate with her family (preferring to make physical contact with other dogs and people whenever possible), but due to her breed mix - can be protective as she matures. She comes immediately when called, is bright, more people, than dog oriented, and wants to please. A home with big/protective breed experience is preferred.
