This 4-year-old, 14 lb Dachshund spent his whole life glued to his siblings like a pack of tiny wiener-shaped penguins. Being separated and tossed into the big world hit him like�'�| well�'�| a ton of squeaky hot dogs. If you've never heard of littermate syndrome, give it a quick Google and you'll fully understand why Drake is looking at us like, 'Excuse me�'�| you want me to do WHAT without my family!?' He comes with a few badges of honor from past family drama�'�| tiny pieces missing from his ears that make him look just a bit like a battle-worn cartoon sidekick. They don't bother him one bit, and they definitely add to his charming 'I've seen things' vibe. Here's the scoop on our shy little noodle: �'ۢ He won't bounce up to you during a meet-and-greet. He needs time. He never got to learn how to dog around strangers. �'ۢ He crates quietly like an absolute champion. �'ۢ Small dog friends? Yes please. He loves having a companion his size. �'ۢ Super food motivated�'�| chicken = courage. �'ۢ Toys are excellent morale boosters. �'ۢ He wants nothing more than to cuddle under your blanket like the tiny burrito he is. �'ۢ New experiences can feel big and scary.
