About Meadow

Meadow is strong-willed and speaks her own language, mostly through a vocabulary of grumbles and growls. She is affectionate with people she trusts, jumping onto laps and enjoying body scratches. She can also get overstimulated easily and needs an adopter who will closely observe her reactions and manage her exposure to high activity environments. She's a low to medium energy type of dog. She can play with dogs she trusts, yet gets nervous and barks and can growl at new dogs. She needs someone to continue to work on this.She might do better as an only dog. Meadow is people-focused and prefers to be the center of attention, so will do best as a solo dog. She is looking for a calm adult-only household with an experienced adopter who will take the time to learn her unique language and give her lots of love and attention. Meadow will need regular grooming to look and feel her best. She has an easy to comb coat and ears will need daily combing, with paws and nails to be trimmed bi-weekly.
