About King Barnaby

Don't be fooled by the long face, King Barnaby is not sad. He's a happy-go-lucky Mastiff in every sense of the word. This handsome guy is 3-4 years old and lean at 165 lbs. He's in your business, likes to keep watch (safely behind the comfort of his human), holds the couch in place, and has 10 second zoomies with limbs and jowls flying. Boundaries? None. Clean and neat? Nope. Graceful and swift? Not a chance. King Barnaby is a mastiff lovers delight. He's dog friendly, non-destructive, and seems house trained. KB came from a home with many other mastiffs that were always getting in trouble with animal control for being 'at large.' He was mistakenly identified as a dog causing some chaos and it landed him in the pound. Thankfully, the shelter knew he was falsely accused and reached out to us to help him find a safe place to land. We couldn't be more honored to host this guy until he finds his true forever home. KB doesn't seem to challenge fences and I really can't picture him making it over one. However, we do recommend a minimum of a 4ft fence and we'd love a home with giant breed experience�'�|..bc he will walk all over you if you let him - with only the purest of intentions.
