About Luna

Luna is a beautiful loving girl. She is a rescue who is highly reactive with a prey drive. She can not be around children or smaller animals. We tried to desensitize but ahe just got more anxious. We need to rehome her due to her going after the chihuahuas with the purpose of ending them. She is fine on a leash if there are no people or animals...a fenced backyard and some tennis balls are here preferred exercise routine. This is not the take out everywhere traveling buddy. This is a stay at home kind of girl who loves to run at full speed for 10 minutes then crash in the air-conditioning. She has always done the submissive pee with new people as well as people she knows. She is checked for pee crystals in her urine at vet checks as she had them when she arrived. The food that works best for her to keep this under control is Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream topped with about a cup of water in a puzzle bowl. She sleeps in her crate as she can not be free with the other animals but I am sure she would be a bed sleeper if ahe has the chance. I can not stress enough...NO CHILDREN AND NO SMALL PETS. She requires an owner handler who is experienced with reactive dogs. We will want to do a meet and greet and a virtual home tour. You MUST have a securely fenced yard. Absolutely required. She is safe here. She will remain here until the right forever home finds her. Also if it would not work out, we will take her back and try again. Adoption fee is to ensure she's not sold to a lab or used for fighting.
