It is with a very heavy heart that we've made the difficult decision to rehome our two beloved dogs. This has been an incredibly hard choice, but we want them to be happy and fully part of a family where they can thrive. We are approaching this very carefully and will be extremely selective about their new home, ideally with a home visit to ensure a good fit. These dogs are truly family, and I never imagined we would be in this position. Please know that we are sharing this with kindness and honesty. Important Details: Ozzy - Great Dane (large male 8 years old) 'ۢ Ozzy does not do well with toddlers, babies, or very small animals, as he doesn't understand to be gentle around them. 'ۢ He has a prey drive and, unfortunately, once injured a small dog, which required the dog to be euthanized. We used to take him to dog parks every weekend for most of his life, so it was quite a surprise. Him and our small dog used to bicker so I'm not sure if this was something personal between them or if he now just isn't suited with small animals. After that incident, he and our toddler had to be kept separated for safety. We want him to be in a home where he can be fully included in family life. 'ۢ He is wonderful with adults and older children, and though he can be wary of some men, he warms up with love and attention and becomes a loyal companion. He is great on walks, completely potty trained, and is well crate trained as well. Never chews on things other than toys or the occasional treat. Smaller Dog - Mixed Breed (male- 4 years old) 'ۢ Playful, goofy, and affectionate. 'ۢ Tends to chew on unattended items, so supervision is needed. 'ۢ Otherwise, he is well potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys cuddling on the couch. Additional Notes: 'ۢ The dogs are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. 'ۢ They are up to date on vaccinations, and I can provide vet paperwork. This is an incredibly difficult decision for us, but our priority is finding a loving home where they can be fully part of the family and receive the attention they deserve. If you're interested and feel you could provide that environment, we would love to hear from you. we don't want them passed around by any means. Please understand that if the perfect home is not found, we would much rather keep them and love them, we are only doing this if there is the possibility there is something better for them as I hate that they have to be separate from us in our home. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for understanding.
