About 'Barstow'

'Barstow' was found on I-15 South on 25-Oct. He was not fearful and came right to car. He did good on the 8 hours car ride. I'm not sure if he is purebred or not but he is absolutely a Boxer. He has malnourished, doesn't seem to have very good sight, especially in low light. He may have hearing loss as well. His breath is horrible and likely needs dental care. He's very sweet, is potty trained, and not a messy drinker :) He is an old man and want to find him a home where someone is willing to devote the time and care needed to allow for him to live a happy and fulfilling life for the remainder of his time. With the limited interaction with other dogs, he doesn't seem bothered by the other dog's energy and is very calm. I have two cats and he doesn't pay them any mind, however the cats are staying as far from him as possible. I am unsure, once settled if the interest in them will increase or not. He doesn't seem to be bothered by loud sounds or busy environments. He doesn't appear to have issue with males or females but unable to test with children.
