So Stella came to us with a newborn litter of pups and a little snarky male JRT mix when the person caring for her went into hospice. Stella was very wary at first but soon decided that i was good and that all was Or just Annie and Sammy! And they are only adoptable as a pair. They are siblings and adore each other. These two were part of a litter of three and we lost the smallest boy who had a cleft palate and failed to thrive. Sammy had a couple issues himself but for the most part has overcome. We do consider him to be special needs as his rear paws are missing toes and his little pee pee needs to be watched. But it doesnt stop him and he hives his sister a run for her money at almost half her size. Annie is almost 5# and Sammy is like 3.7#. They are almost 12 weeks old and are little energizer bunnies! We prefer an all adult home for these babies just due to their size! And they love getting right under your feet! Mom was definitely chihuahua and dad is one of a couple fluffy breeds that were on the property. to be okay! After all my understanding is that her person just cared for the local strays so she actually just lived outside surviving in who knows what?!? Needless to say, Stella is very independent. She did a great job raising her babies and all have gone north and been adopted%BD'%BD| but Stella still waits! Stella's ideal home would have a fenced in yard to run around freely in and maybe a doggie friend or two to get in trouble with. Stella is actually very sweet and a bundle of energy. She loves toys especially squeakies! I think she will blossom in a home of her very own! And she has certainly earned that provilege. I pray every day for the right person to see her and fall in love!
