About Zane

Meet Zane! This handsome youngster was found in Crewe, Virginia in Nottoway County. His finder, a farm owner, was surprised to spot him outside of a shed and began feeding him. For three days she offered him food morning and night but declined to take him in to her residence not wanting another cat. After reaching out to another rescuer that rescuer reached out to me and I connected with the finder. On Saturday, October 4, 2026, I meet the finder in a parking lot in Midlothian, Virginia, and a no named grey fluff ball became my newest rescue ward. The entirety of our drive he sang to me, a very happy song. At each stop light I would pop the top to his carrier and he would go belly up for tummy tickles. Initially weighing in at just two pounds, Zane quickly melded in to my menagerie of rescue kitties and doggies. Set on becoming a big guy boy, Zane races to me at meal time and happily eats his fill of both canned and dry food. So much so that he now tips the rescue kitten scale at 3.53 pounds. He has made fast friends with kitten man Windermere and very much enjoys early morning and late night zoomies zipping around alternating who chases whom. He has mastered the red dot and the Frisco springs. After exuberant play he enjoys sofa cuddling and bed pillow lounging. A big personality he is a friend to all both kitty and doggie. Treated for fleas and dewormed, Zane is scheduled to be neutered on October 11, 2025. At that time he will also be combo tested, rabies and distemper vaccinated and microchipped. His enthusiasm for kitten romping and stomping abounds and he is eager to find a human/humans to call his very own. If interested in being adopted by this great guy, please feel free to contact me.
