Weighing about 40-45 lbs, she's the perfect balance of affectionate lap dog and adventurous trail companion. Luna lives for being close to her people - she'll happily snuggle for hours if you let her, and she's just as excited to head out for a hike or romp through the outdoors. She has lived her entire life with her littermate sister, Anya, and they are truly inseparable best friends. If you've ever considered adopting a bonded pair, these two would brighten your world. But Luna will also thrive as an only dog in a loving, active home where she gets plenty of attention. Luna is house-trained, crate-trained (though she'll give you her best sad eyes if you close that door), and professionally trained on leash and e-collar. Her recall is excellent, and she's used to spending most of her day side-by-side with her human. She loves other dogs and enjoys meeting new people. Luna does well with children, though she's most comfortable around older kids (about 6+), who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. Cats are a maybe - slow, supervised introductions are key, as her herding instincts and prey drive may kick into gear. She absolutely loves going out for daily walks, hikes, or runs.
